Universal Foundry was established in the year 1972 by two graduates engineers who started manufacturing Grey Iron Castings and catered to the needs of water works, State Electricity Boards, Agriculture, Engineering and Automobile Industries.

The group then realized that the customers desire to have the automobile components in machined condition so that the same can be used directly at the assembly line. With this idea the group did a forward integration of the foundry line by setting up one machining unit with complete facilities like CNC turning Center, VMC and other conventional machines.

In the year 2000 it became the one of the very few units to manufacture S.G. Iron or Ductile Iron castings in the state.

During the initial years of 21st Century, the unit won the confidence of its customers with regard to the good quality, quantity and timely supplies and started receiving more and more enquiries from the existing customers and the new customers. At this stage unit took a decision to go for the second expansion plan with an Automatic High Pressure Moulding Line to a capacity of 18000 MT per annum. 

In 1972, the company was established.

In 1995, the unit took expansion.

Foundry set up CNC Turning Center, VMC and other advanced machines.

In 2000, we became one of the specialized companies to manufacture S.G. Iron or Ductile Iron castings.

During 2008-2009, we did an expansion of our plant with the Installation of Fully Automatic High Pressure Moulding Line system and enhanced the total Capacity to 18000 MT of Ferrous Castings per Annum. 

We are now known as Universal Autofoundry Pvt. Ltd. since Nov \\\\\\\'09.
